Trucklapse I follows up on the science of it’s predecessor Trainlapse. It focusses on the expectations parallel to the experience of a moment in contrast to what really is, or: the bigger picture. Trucklapse separates the spectacle from the moment and gives a rational view of something we experience, remember and associate with emotion.

In this case a sunset, in all it’s spectacular cliché, reveals a paradox between the visual and emotional experience and its rational reproduction by showing remarkably many blue colours, the typical tones of the morning glory. This unexpected event shows how well the mind focusses on a single dominating aspect of a whole by generating the general color of the momentum every 30 seconds for 50 minutes.
